A daughter of immigrant parents by way of the Philippines, Lovelisa Dizon, better known in the music industry as LUV, established herself as a DJ, producer, A&R representative and community organizer born, raised and currently living amidst the New York Metropolitan and Tri-State area, in Jersey City. She is known to effortlessly "rock a crowd" but better yet, work behind the scenes to organize cultural and fundraising events within her community. As a woman in music & A&R representative of Serato, she is actively advocating for the advancement & representation of women & non-binary identifying individuals who are DJs, producers & artists. Her passion to educate others, especially the youth, inspires and supports many who seek careers in arts & in music.

With music ranging from everything between rhythmic afrobeats and soul R&B, and from Caribbean flavors such as reggae, dancehall and soca to dance music in the likes of club, house, disco & funk, she brings deep passion, healing and diverse sounds to her audiences through her DJ sets. She continues to be a force in the music industry world wide, opening for DJ and record producers Sango & DJ Craze, Grammy nominated producer and DJ, A-Trak, DJ'ing comedy tours with Michelle Wolf and Ilana Glazer as well as Saturday Night Live after parties with Cipha Sounds & Dave Chapelle. Notably, she made her debut on Boiler Room in 2019, representing the sounds of Jersey Club and Dance music. Currently, she is a resident DJ for Boogie Nights, an event series created by Alissia, the Grammy nominated musician, producer & DJ. Locally, LUV is a resident DJ for the National Women's Soccer League's New York / New Jersey Gotham FC Fan Fest & actively participating as a guest mixshow DJ for New York's #1 for throwbacks radio station, 94.7FM The Block, to enhance programming and representation.
